This is a brilliant idea. The concept is ingenious. The priority of patient safety is obviously in the forefront. I could see this being used on a daily basis with the appropriate population due to the ease of use. Should be used with the assist of 2 caregivers if the patient is extremely unsteady for security of the chair in the case of an unexpected fall.

As a registered nurse, I experimented with this product and found it to be extremely effective. The name of the game is cost-cutting and this all but eliminates the need for a second care giver while ambulating a patient and remaining safe in the process. Can't wait for this to be a standard of care!!

I'm so happy to have come up with the Wheelchair Assistant. It was out of my own need for this device that I came up with the idea. And it works!! Hope it helps many more people in the future!!
